Before coming to your first appointment:

• Think about your reasons for quitting smoking and write them down. This can include saving money, being healthier etc.
• Inform your family and close friends that you’re going to stop smoking & ask for their support.
• Find others who would like to give up smoking and support each other.
• Get rid of lighters, ashtrays and matches. Make sure you have no cigarettes around.
• Remove any stale smoke smells by spring-cleaning your home and clothes.

The Anne Penman Weight Loss Programme is a tailored 4-week course that helps participants lose an average of 2-3lbs per week.

What happens during the programme?

The programme consists of three sessions: The first session is one hour long, and this is usually all that is required to help you become smoke-free. However, we understand that the first 2 or 3 days of quitting smoking are crucial and to maximise your success we recommend a second session within two to three days.
Further sessions can be arranged depending on individual needs. These ongoing sessions are offered to help you remain smoke-free.

Our weight loss programme lasts for one month and is broken up into 4 weekly sessions. This is the optimal duration for the programme, as it takes your body a minimum of 28 days to adjust to new eating patterns.

The first session will last 1 hour 15 minutes and will involve laser treatment, measurement of current weight, and analysis of your body using an analysing monitor. We will also evaluate your current eating patterns, calorie intake and overall health, and then we will create a bespoke meal plan to help you meet your goals.

The following sessions will vary depending on the results of the first session and will be tailored to the specific needs of each participant.
